Case information: patient, male, 66 years old.
Preoperative diagnosis: 1, mixed cervical spondylosis, 2, ankylosing spondylitis (40 years)
Proposed surgery: cervical spine internal fixation.
Anesthesia examination: C-shaped spinal stiffness deformity, cervical backward elevation of only 10 degrees, 2 fingers of mouth opening, only hard palate visible;Mallampaticlassification: grade IV, 2 fingers of nail-chin spacing, belonging to the severe difficult airway.
